Hi, I’m Lucy

Firstly, welcome. My name is Lucy. I have been surrounded by flowers from the small age of about 5. Little girls grew up saying they wanted to be princesses and fairies, but I grew up saying “I wanted to be a florist”.

From a family with a nature and design inspired background, flowers literally run in my blood. I started working in a florist from the age of about 13 in a small village in Surrey, working after school and on weekends, tirelessly perfecting my technique.

At the age of around 20 I moved to London to experience new things, perfect my customer service and refine design technique. After dabbling in hospitality management and interior design, I finally said enough was enough and retuned to my calling of flowers working at Harrods before I approached Pinstripes and Peonies based in New Covent Garden Flower Market.

Within a year I had the honour of becoming their head florist, having the opportunity to work in amazing venues including royal palaces, ancient museums and many other wonderful locations, both in the UK and around the world.

During the 2019 Chelsea Flower Show Pinstripes and Peonies were nominated for the Fleur De Villes Covent Garden award. With our sponsor Raymond Blanc, we won most original design and following this success I was then invited by Fleur De Villes to compete in New York, winning most original design for the second time. During my time with Pinstripes, I also competed in Chelsea In Bloom, winning a silver award for design and creativity.

Everything I design is completely bespoke. I aim to incorporate everything you love, adding my own creative flare. And I can’t wait to start this journey with you.

Lucy
